12:30pm - 1:30pm New Paltz: Women in Black peace vigil  Category : Peace / War A peace vigil occurring every Saturday.
From the organizers: "Women in Black has been standing for an end to war and violence in all its forms for over 8 years. We wear black in resistance and mourning for all the senseless killing. We are also calling for a progressive agenda that provides green jobs, universal health care, and in general, policies that benefit the people and not special interests. We are silent for the last ten minutes. Please join us."
Men are welcome to the vigil.
