The workers and hotel management have reached a settlement, and this action is over. This listing remains for posterity because there are still many web links leading to it.

Every Wednesday, demonstrators picketed in solidarity with striking workers at the Holiday Inn Express in Latham.

Background from the organizers:: "Workers at the Holiday Inn Express got tired of poverty wages, unaffordable healthcare, and bad management. They joined with Workers United local 471 to form a union at this hotel, owned by Jim Morrell. Within 24 hours hotel management fired 3 workers on the organizing committee and fired another not long after, workers went on strike for back pay and union recognition and established a daily picket line at the entrance.
