Melanie Trimble, Director of the Capital Region Chapter of the New York Civil Liberties Union, will discuss current U.S. Immigration Policy, various pending proposals, and the position of the American Civil Liberties Union. She will discuss what citizens can do to support comprehensive immigration reform, and review some of the most important issues.

With twelve to fifteen million undocumented immigrants nationwide and up to one million in New York State, we face an ongoing human rights crisis that demands a solution."
