A series on agriculture, food, and animal cruelty; broadcasting on Wappingers Falls Cablevision channel 21, every Thursday, 9-10pm and every Monday 10-11pm.
The weekly broadcasts are showings of DVDs about the meat industry, from treatment of animals to the food on our plates, and possibly includes pieces on the fur industry. They are filmed by undercover video cameras from across the US.

6:00pm NYC: Protest against fundraisier for the Israeli occupation  Category : Peace / War A protest and march against the $1,000-a-plate fundraising dinner for the Israeli Occupation Forces. Appearing at the event will be Chief of the Israeli Defense Force General Staff Gabi Ashkenazi, whom the protestors describe as a war criminal.
Demonstrators will meet at 53rd St and Lexington Ave at 5:00pm, and march to the Waldorf Astoria for the rally at 6:00pm.

4:00pm - 6:00pm Latham: Rally to support fired Holiday Inn Express workers  Category : Labor A rally every Wednesday to protest Holiday Inn Express, after the hotel apparently broke their January 2010 settlement agreement with fired workers and the National Labor Relations Board. The original four month long strike, beginning in fall 2009, stemmed from the hotel allegedly firing workers for attempting to join a union, and subsequently impeding the worker's rights, and breaking a multitude of labor laws.
The organizers plans to hold the renewed rally "...'til the workers get justice."
